Steve Deal Bio
Rev. Steve Deal of RealDeal Ministries International brings the reality of hope and life from a Kingdom perspective to God’s people. Having pastored youth and adults for over 22 years, he understands the unique challenges the Body of Christ is facing today. He feels one of the primary challenges facing our nation right now is the loss of the role of the father in our homes across this nation. The hole that has been left in the home and in the hearts of children, as well as the rejection issues that surface in our every day lives from the playground to the workforce, have left us wanting…wanting more; wanting to experience healing; wanting to see the supernatural, and wanting to experience the love of God as our heavenly father. The challenge we face is presenting a loving, caring, heavenly father to a multitude of humanity whose only reference to “father” speaks of rejection, hurt, disappointment, abandonment, or abuse. How do we go from here? Steve Deal addresses these wounds left in the lives of many by their earthly fathers who have abdicated their responsibility to love and lead their children. Most of society’s ills are attributed directly to two areas of lack. The lack of understanding that there is a “Father God in heaven” who loves them so much that he chose to come dwell within their hearts upon salvation and partner with them, “Christ in me (you) the hope of glory” (Col 1:27) and the lack of an earthly father demonstrating the Heavenly Father’s love to his children.
Steve communicates this need from the experience of fathering many; from children he has spiritually parented, many from which have had no reference to an earthly father to speak of or fathers that have left deep wounds, in addition to his own children who are serving and ministering to the Lord with the gifts God has given them. Much of his experience has been in the inner cities of America, but make no mistake, this is not an inner city problem, this is a nationwide problem.
He is the Co-Author of the book, “Daddy if You Only Knew”. Married to his ministry partner, Lennette, for 26 years, together they are committed to seeing God’s people fulfill their destinies under Him from the youngest to the oldest. He is committed to the fact that children and youth are the church of today not tomorrow and therefore healing is a must in order for them to press forward into their God given destinies.
